Dr. Larry Wilson is a licensed chiropractic physician and graduate from Florida's Palmer College of Chiropractic.
While attending Palmer, Dr. Wilson served as the president of the Student American Chiropractic Association and earned the nomination for a Clinical Excellence Award that recognizes outstanding patient care in the clinic setting.
He was an active member of the Palmer Sports Council and provided treatment for athletes at the Florida Ironman, Southeast Regional CrossFit Games, and Ragnar Relay.
Dr. Wilson attended the University of North Florida and received his bachelor's degree. After completing his bachelor's degree, he became an Emergency Medical Technician and Beach Safety Lieutenant in his hometown of Destin, Florida.
He served as the team leader for the Department of Public Safety's Swiftwater Task Force & Heavy Surf Rescue Team. From these previous experiences, he knew that he wanted to continue to advance in healthcare.
Dr. Wilson has always had a passion for athletics, playing various sports and competing in Ironman distance triathlons. After struggling with his own sports injuries, he sought the benefits of chiropractic care and later improved his race times.
He knew at a young age that he wanted to focus on providing performance-based chiropractic care to provide pain relief, prevent injury, and return patients to optimal health.
Dr. Wilson moved to the Tampa Bay area in 2015 and teamed up with a sports medicine facility, providing care for professional athletes from the NFL, NHL, MLB, Olympians, and collegiate athletes.
Dr. Wilson founded Dynamic Wellness with his wife, Lydia, in early 2016 with the passion of treating every patient as a professional athlete. He holds the philosophy that athleticism comes in all forms and at all levels, therefore every daily activity is an athletic event and everyone deserves to be treated as a professional with elite-level care.
Dr. Wilson is a certified ART (Active Release Techniques) provider. He combines his experiences in chiropractic, soft tissue mobilization, therapeutic modalities, and rehabilitative exercise to provide individualized treatment that best fits each patient's needs.
